Forchielli Glynn, LLC was established in 1999 in collaboration between partners Cynthia Forchielli and Helen Glynn. Together they share extensive professional experience and have worked on many domestic and international projects. To date their roster of projects includes prestigious luxury hotels, resorts and residential projects, including renovation and new-construction. Known for their broad range of skills honed over the years, the duo is proud of the wide project diversity of their portfolio.
It is the firm’s philosophy to create interiors specifically tailored to each project. “We do not work with a ‘signature style’ or the latest trends, but carefully study each project on its own merit before determining the appropriate direction to take. Projects are infused with their own unique sense of place by doing research on the area, and working with local sources. Each project becomes a unique journey that evolves from the individual clients and the essential DNA of the project. Our goal is always to create harmonious, functional and uplifting environments for our clients”.
One of the core tenets of the firm is the belief that each project, from the proposal stage through installation, is to be handled directly by the partners. To this end, they have assembled an efficient and capable studio team, communicating very closely to insure that no detail is left unresolved. The staff is engaged in ongoing research of new materials and applications, and working with a constantly evolving database of global resources.
Responsiveness to the client, coordination with architects, consultants, contractors, and attention to every detail has been key to the continued success of Forchielli Glynn, LLC. The substantial experience with the process of hotel design and a history of successful involvement with hotel planning and operations, and other consultants involved on each project is a major company asset. “We have enjoyed many long-term client relationships resulting in many repeat commissions”.
“We are driven by the desire to get the job done right and delight our clients. Because we’re not a big machine we offer our clients a very personal service, and that’s the way we like it.”
“Public space is about blurring the lines between social and business, function and fun. We get great joy from seeing people use the space not only in the way it was intended, but with a whole new discovery of ways.”
